DescriptionDescription of a road leading from the market town of Barnard Castle in county Durham to the market town of Brough in Westmorland, viz. from Mickleton Town Sike near the west end of the town of Mickleton in the parish of Romaldkirk to a gate placed across the highway at the west end of Mickleton West Pasture called Lary Beck Gate, being 3,900 yards in length and 20 feet in breadth. The road is so out of repair that it is impossible for anyone to pass along it. The township of Mickleton is to repair it
