DescriptionBill of indictment of Frances Bransdale wife of Nathaniel Bransdale late of Whitby roper for receiving a quarter of a pound of sugar value 1d and half an ounce of tea value 1d (1 June); one other quarter of a pound of sugar value 1d, one other half ounce of tea value 1d, one silver coin called a shilling value 1s, and one silver coin called a sixpence value 6d (1 July); a quarter of a pound of soap value 1d, a quarter of a pound of sugar value 1d, and a silver coin called a shilling value 1s (8 July); a quarter of a pound of soap value 1d, a silver coin called a sixpence value 6d, and 11 copper coins called halfpennies value 51/2d (20 July); one silver coin called a shilling value 1s (13 August); one silver coin called a half-crown value 2s 6d (20 August); and a quarter of a pound of sugar value 1d, half an ounce of tea value 1d, one silver coin called a sixpence value 6d (28 August); all being the property of John Watson and stolen by William Elmer
