- William Sutton, committed on 4 March 1788 for disobeying an order and not finding sureties for the township of Newsham for a bastard child
- Grace Crabtree, committed on 7 June 1788 on the oath of Richard Hutchinson overseer of the poor for the township of Aldbrough for having had a bastard child, to the evil example of others
- Robert Hird, committed on 26 August 1788 for not finding sureties for the township of Marrick for a bastard child
- John Peacock, committed on 8 September 1788 for not finding sureties for his appearance at the next Sessions and for not keeping the peace with his wife
- Nicholas Forster, committed on 8 September 1788 for not finding sureties for the township of Redcar for a bastard child |
