DescriptionBill of indictment of Philip Hodshon [Hodgson] yeoman, George Coatesworth yeoman and James Gedling weaver, all of Yarm, for not scouring a water sewer called the Head Gutter running through the township of Yarm and emptying into the river Tees

Hodshon, Coatesworth and Gedling are liable to scour the watercourse by reason of their tenure of land adjoining it
