Description | Bill of indictment of Thomas Pearson late of Easingwold bailiff and Francis Thompson of Thormanby yeoman for assaulting Elizabeth wife of Robert Plumer. Pearson as bailiff to Hugh Bethell esquire sheriff of the county of York, and Thompson also threatened her, saying that she would be ruined as they had a writ against her, and so extorting £4 14s 6d from her
