Summary of case: [Includes case papers for NRCC/CL 9/1/5563 and NRCC/CL 9/1/5803] On 25 July 1918 Nunn was granted exemption on the grounds of serious hardship until 23 November 1918 with leave to apply for a further exemption. At this time Nunn was private and household secretary to the Earl of Londesborough, and states that the Earl needs his services due to ill health. ‘This appeal is made at the request of Lord Londesborough, and the facts as stated have been made with his Lordship’s approval.’ On 28 September Nunn appeals again. He is now working as a pay clerk at Scapwick aerodrome is of national importance.
