Summary of case: [Includes case papers for NRCC/CL 9/1/4828] Previously granted exemption to May 1918. Robinson had been placed at grade 3. He had sold his Brompton fish business and during the day I am employed in work for the camp, as stated by Mr Parker. If allowed to remain in civil life, I should be able to carry on an average 1250 to 1500 customers a week, and the business has been developed by me during the last six and a half years, and it would be a serious loss to me and my family if I joined the army, as my wife could not carry on by herself, and I should have to dispose of the business.’ On 31 Oct 1918. Leave granted to appeal for extension of exemption
