Summary of case: ‘This claim being put in too late, the local tribunal were not competent to deal with the case at all without permission of the Doncaster General of national Service, which has not apparently been given. The claim was made on the 24 June. A member of the tribunal states that he received ‘verbal permission’ on the 22 June but an enquiry, whether such permission had been given, the answer was in the negative. I append correspondence. I understand the Clerk received a similar letter. The reference to the regulations should have been Sect 28 not 26.’
