Barton is in a certified trade and a man seven years is his junior should be exempt. A qualified baker, he has been foreman 16 years. A number of military contracts are held. The firm originally employed 150 they are now down that by 1/3, mainly women and boys. Barton is also a motor mechanic and is employed keeping the motor vans running. Barton’s sons are in the army serving as Officers. Barton is a member of the Volunteer Aid Detachment.
