Summary of case: I am a farmer and have about 45 acres of land at Gayle Ing and another Farm at Littleburn, Thoralby. I have now about 30 head of cattle etc., 2 horses and 700 sheep. I have one son aged 16 helping me on the farm in addition to the said George James Atkinson, my other son Richard is practically unable to do any work owing to bad eyesight and I cannot manage the farms without George James Atkinson.
