The appeal was on the grounds that as his other workman had also been called up Arthur Rennison was learning to milk and would be essential to that part of the business. The local tribunal refused his appeal, stating Appellant did not appear before tribunal who were of the opinion that his small dairy was not of sufficient importance or size to justify them in granting exemption.
