Summary of Case: Morris was one of four sons of an Austrian immigrant, with three brothers already enlisted. The family ran a tailoring business which the father was too infirm to maintain himself. Morris appealed on the grounds that he would maintain the business so that his brothers would have an occupation to return to after the war as well as to keep his parents.
