Summary of case: I am the sole proprietor of an underground Quarry and mason business which if called upon for military service would mean the closing down of the same consequently serious hardship would ensue for myself and four children both now and in future years. I have three brothers serving in France two have been serving four years and one over two years. My wife has a widowed mother dependent upon her for care and nursing and has often to go out to sleep with her at nights consequently I am left to look after the children.
