Summary of Case: Freeman claims he needs to complete his training which is in the national interest. After his exams in Dec 1916 he is willing to be attached to the Dental Section, but is not strong enough for normal military service. He had attested “under a misapprehension”. The appeal to the local tribunal was made by his father on his behalf because he was “very nervous and easily embarrassed.” This was refused.
