Summary of case: Mrs Duggleby is a widow with three sons, two of whom are in the Army. The remaining son is carrying on the business which her late husband took over about 30 years ago, and this business is essential to the applicantÂ’s livelihood. She is 62 years of age with various financial obligations which can only be discharged if this son is allowed to remain. He was medically rejected for a Sick Club before the War and it is believed his present category may not be correct. [Case papers included for NRCC/CL 9/1/5084]
