Summary of case: I am nearly 47 years of age and I have a large business which I established over 15 years ago. I bought my premises about 4 years ago and rates and taxes amount to nearly £30 per year. Having regard to my age and the fact there mine is a one-man business within the meaning of the regulations. I submit I ought to be exempted It is a serious thing for me for my business to be broken up.
