Summary of case: Wright was working with his employer on repairing a granary. A letter from the farmer stated that some of the previous year's crop had been ruined by rain getting in and that this would happen again if the roof was not repaired. The mason would not continue with the work without his assistant and the farmer knew that the mason would not be able to find a local substitute for Wright.
