They state that the firm had two other businesses in the same town and they were of the opinion that the business of the other two was insufficient for two men to be retained in civil life, and that Mr Mee should join the Forces... Johnson appeals this decision stating that Mee is essential to the running of his business, particularly at the present time when the Food Orders have to be carried out.
