They also questioned the Governor of the Farm School who stated that Robert William Fawcett was not indispensable. A letter from Fawcett, dated 7 May 1916 states that on 10 Apr 1916 he went before the Medical Board at Richmond, Yorkshire and was passed fit for Garrison Duty at home. He withdraws his appeal.
