Summary of case: The local tribunal decided that it was not in the national Interest that this man should remain in civil employment as an Instructor in Handycraft. E Bubwith appealed this decision supporting Charles Sudron in his current position as instructor in woodwork at a manual training centre based at a school where he also took evening classes in this subject. If Sudron joined the army the woodwork section would have to be closed down which would upset the whole course of instruction.
