Summary of case: Previous exemption granted conditional exemption in Sep 1917. Works on the family farm as assistant cowman, stockman and shepherd. Three other sons have been killed in the war. The appellant says it will be very difficult for Lady Cowell to find a substitute to attend to the class of stock on the farm. Much of the stock is scattered on land around Clifton. Craddock is a member of the Volunteer Training Corps. Craddock has a certificate from the War Agriculture Executive Committee which allows him the right to appeal against his conscription, number 1326
