The appellant says it will be very difficult for Lady Cowell to find a substitute to attend to the class of stock on the farm. Much of the stock is scattered on land around Clifton. Craddock is a member of the Volunteer Training Corps. Craddock has a certificate from the War Agriculture Executive Committee which allows him the right to appeal against his conscription, number 1326
