Summary of case: Previous application on 25 Jun 1917 gave conditional exemption. There had been five employees before the war; he now had two. The farm is 1300 acres including moorland and 50 acres arable. 300 ewes, 270 lambs and 200 other sheep plus other livestock. The farm is reliant on this man. Decision stated that he did not need to join the Volunteer Training Corps. Kendall has a certificate from the War Agriculture Executive Committee which allows him the right to appeal against his conscription, number 1302
