There are 6 other men working on the farm, including two soldiers, and the owner. Two sons are already in the Army. Decision states he is not required to join the Volunteer Training Corps. Easterby has a certificate from the War Agriculture Executive Committee which allows him the right to appeal against his conscription, number 955
