Summary of Case: Farms two farms. Had two working horses, but had to sell them off, because I could not get help. I have 240 ewes and their followers and 65 store sheep and they go on unenclosed common so I have to rely on my son for doing the shepherding and helping with the farm work. Metcalfe has a certificate from the War Agriculture Executive Committee which allows him the right to appeal against his conscription, number 834
