Summary of case: Indispensable to the company due to the extreme amount of shipping work they deal with, he attends the speedy berthing of steamers in conjunction with the Ministry of Munitions, does loading and unloading of shippers. Staff left have very little experience. He is next in line to Mr Scoby-Smith who does general superintending of the agency and he cannot do this work without him, would be disastrous to take him from his duties.
