Escombe McGrath & Company at Middlesbrough and is ‘rendering assistance of great national importance’, and is a man with many years of experience. He wanted temporary exemption as his wife was going to give birth in the first or second week of July. The national service representative disagreed with the temporary exemption granted by the local tribunal stating that the man was passed fit for general service and that his domestic circumstances were not sufficient to warrant exemption.
