Summary of case: Henry Kirkbride is the last man on the farm to offer assistance and his father could not manage without him. He works 16 hours a day and is involved in looking after 500 sheep and lambs on 550 acres of the 670 acre farm. William Kirkbride has been unable to procure a shepherd for the last two years. The father also suffers from duodenal ulcer and is unfit for manual work. There is considerable milk production on this farm, 15,000 gallons per annum. Henry Kirkbride has an exemption from the Agriculture Committee number 37
