Summary of case: On 6 April 1918 the military representative had appealed against Tennant's exemption and the North Riding Appeal Tribunal allowed the appeal but directed that he should not be called up before 1 June, to allow his mother to find a replacement for him in running her business. He then received a call-up notice for 2 May. This appeal is asking for the delay to be confirmed. The North Riding Appeal Tribunal reconsidered case and again expressed opinion that man should not be called up before 1 June as previously decided, on domestic grounds.
