Summary of case: The employers appealed to the local tribunal that in view of the Military value grade 3 and his infirmity they are desirous of retaining his service in catering for the members of the club of whom a majority are munitions workers. The man was rejected at Richmond and later at Middlesbrough classed Grade III. His infirmity is gradually growing worse.
The National Service Representative states that having had experience in farm work he should be whole time engaged on the land acting as substitute for an 'A' man who could be released for service. It is certainly not in the national interest that he could remain in this present employment.
