Summary of case: The employer states that the boy has to help milk 20 cows night and morning and take milk to the station which is 3 miles distant, and help to feed other 10 cows and go the horses when required. The only other labour he has on the farm is a boy of 16. My farm is 191 1/2 acres, 96 arable and 95 1/2 grass. The National Service Representative states that the boy being single aged 18 and Grade I and not holding a Certificate of Protection from the War Agriculture Committee should be make available prior to 1 June 1917 and has only just recently taken up this work, having previously been a Drapers' Assistant.
