Dependants, mother, sister and two children.” The local tribunal decision was that “Sister and two children staying with mother and at first had Parish relief. Sister is legally separated from her husband, and husband enlisted in different name.” The tribunal believed that the husband had now been found and she was entitled to a Separation Allowance of 10 shillings. With Dependents Allowance and Seperation Allowance to the sister there appears to be no reason why the mother should suffer financially to any appreciable extent.”
