Summary of case: Previous exemption until 1 Jan 1918. ‘Farm manager to applicant who is 65 years of age and only person employed. Farm stock 21 head of cattle, 1 horse. Mrs Forrest, applicant’s wife, has been an invalid for 16 years. In applicant’s absence everything devolves on the son. The farm 66 acres is scattered. His services are absolutely necessary for the carrying on of the farm practically the sole means of support of the father who is in failing health and invalid mother. If called on to serve the farm would have to be given up. Passed in law Medical Category C2 having only one good eye. I hold a voucher from the N R of Yorks.
