Summary of case: Previous exemption until 1 Jan 1918. I claim exemption on account of him being my Shepherd ad indispensable to the working of the farm. We have 10 head of cattle including 4 milking cows and 2 horses. Also have 50 breeding sheep and 10 tups which go on a sheep stray on a very high unenclosed moor. In three different directions the far end of which is 5 miles from my home I am 57 years of age and suffering from a weak heart. [See also NRCC/Cl 9/1/4318]
