Summary of case: 3 Nov 1917 Crowe appeals on the grounds that his aged parents rely on him and that if he is taken there is not a relative left to look after them. He has also been rejected several times on health grounds and states ‘My present classification is unreasonable and I ask for another medical Exam.’ Crowe was granted another medical examination. A succession of paperwork overrides the decision as it is agreed that Crowe is doing important work for the war office working in Newcastle, 25 March 1918. It had been requested the appeal go to a Central Tribunal, however the paperwork was never forwarded.
