Summary of case: Previous appeal decided 20 Oct 1917, allowed exemption to 1 Jan 1918. Fawcett runs two cars and employs one man who has been discharged from the navy. He does a lot of work for the Military and Balfour Beatties, the war agents. He is also a special constable, despatch rider and in the motor transport section of the Volunteer Training Corps.
