Summary of case: Distributes 40 gallons of milk per day and sells dairy products at his shop which is looked after by his wife. If he is called up the shop and business will be forced to close. The local tribunal states in their reasons for giving temporary exemption to 6 Jan 1918 that Hudson has no cows. Although he hasn't been medically examined they presume he is fit to serve. They see no reason why this man should not serve in the army.
