Summary of Case: Local butcher practising for two years, does all the work himself with only a young male assistant who can only run errands and look after the shop when he is way on county rounds. He states that his business is a certified trade and in the national interests. Additionally, he states that if he was called up it would mean a serious loss to him as his business has a tenancy until May 1917. He states he was called up as a single man but has in fact been married since November 1915.
