Due to ill health the grandfather could not work the land, prior to the war he employed four men and now only has Kettlestring junior and a workman age 46. He has found it impossible to find men to help and has been forced to employ women. The local tribunal refused appeal due to the grandson was not wholly employed in working the land but also in transporting the produce to land. They found women could be found and the work was not of national importance.
