Summary of Case: Employed as a butcher and slaughterman in a business that has a large government contract to supply HM Prison in Northallerton with butchers’ meat. The owner of the business does a county round and is away from the shop two days a week and also attends the stock mart. Harold is trustworthy and can run the shop in his absence and do a county round. Slaughtermen in Northallerton are not to be obtained as they have all joined the ‘Colours’ and he cannot find a man over military age. .Harold Hudson is the only man he has and the business cannot run without him.
