Summary of case: ‘I herewith beg to appeal for Frank Kirton he is the only man I have on the land. I farm 90 acres grass, 10 acres Tillage. Stock kept 20 milk cows, one bull and 8 heifers in calf, 4 calves, 2 cart horses for working the land and 2 ponies for delivering milk. I do all the dairy work myself with the help of boys under Military age, this man puts whole of his time on the land helping to milk mornings.
