Summary of case: Further to that appeal, on 31 Oct 1917 Mr Clucas senior sent to the tribunal a copy of the Home Office regulations concerning the use of protective gloves by munitions workers, and therefore the essential nature of his work. He explained the financial aspect of the loss of his son's assistance in the business and requested a further hearing. There is a letter from the Clerk of the North Riding Appeal Tribunal explaining that they were not prepared to consider the case further. [See also NRCC/CL 9/1/4145]
