Summary of Case: ‘This man is solely engaged in cutting hay for Messrs. Charlesworth’s Collieries at Wakefield. He is an experienced hay cutter having been working for me since January 1914. I am under contract to supply 12 tons of cut hay to their collieries every week, and failure to do this would seriously affect the output at the collieries. I have made efforts previously to replace this man without success and I see no possibility of obtaining a substitute for him.’
