Summary of case: Miles Daniel works for his father over a wide agricultural district in which there is no other boot repairer. The villagers are purely in agricultural work of national importance. The nearest town is 4 miles away. In five months they have repaired 1070 pairs of boots and made special farm boots. In addition to all this Miles Daniel is the sole employee and is responsible for looking after the father and mother, both in bad health, and the sister who nurses the mother.
