Summary of case: As a married man with six young dependent children and a wife with no private means, the business is the sole support for the family.’ South Bank is a Naval base and my house has been and is much used by Naval Petty Officers and men both for food and lodgings when they are sleeping ashore. These men require very special attention and my hotel is the nearest licensed House to their base and within easy reach and to telephone call. Apart from the Commercial business the trade of my house is practically all working class business.’
