Summary of case: (a) I am engaged by the Army Canteen Committee at the Hipswell Camp, Catterick. (b) I have a wife, two children, wife’s Mother and sister, who are entirely dependent upon me. (c) Temporary exemption was granted by the Appeal Tribunal to 30th May 1917 on the 17 Feb 1917, and I was instructed by the Tribunal to ascertain from the Civil Liabilities Committee, what allowance would be made for the above named dependents. I am informed by the Committee, that they do not [admit] of grants being made in respect of allowances to dependants other than wife and children. [See also NRCC/CL 9/1/2907]
