Summary of case: That my business is essentially a one-man business, entirely conducted by myself without any assistance whatever. It is impossible to get an assistant to take my place, such assistant must be a skilled person. I am totally dependent it for my livelihood. All my Capital is locked up in my business. I am 37 years of age and married. I have to maintain my wife, also to assist in the maintenance of my father and mother. It will be a serious hardship if I am not exempted from Military Service. If I am not exempted, I shall have to close my business. I am looking after my brother’s affairs. Another ground of appeal is ill health.
