Summary of case: He served for nearly 12 months before being discharged as no longer physically fit for war service. He had his appendix removed and still suffers from the aftereffects. He has been a volunteer worker with the Motor Ambulance Corps since he was discharged. There is debate as to whether he is B1 or B2 fit. He asks to be seen by the Special Medical Board but the local tribunal say the medical evidence is not sufficient to warrant this. It seems the army need motor drivers but he has never driven a car.
