His mother is widowed and his sister an invalid and they all depend on the chemists business. Three juniors had been released to the war effort and substitutes had been hopeless. A supporting letter from his mother is included. The local tribunal say that he is not a qualified chemist and that a retired chemist has been enabling the business to continue.
