Summary of case: The appellant states that he has four children and his wife is in a very delicate state of health having been under the doctors treatment for the last two months. He has a great deal of housework to do as his wife is not able to do it herself and there is no one else to do the work. She is a continuous state of excitement owing in part to air raids and some nights I have to stay at home from work as a consequence. [See also NRCC/CL 9/1/4026]
