Appeal made by Thomas Jackson, father and employer. Herbert Jackson is the working manager of a bread bakery supplying bread to the district. As a 33-year-old married man with 2 children and in a certified occupation, Herbert is entitled to exemption from military service. Herbert also has an old injury to left hip joint which makes him lame after a few miles walking.
